Kudos to Republicans who voted against right to work

February 01, 2012 12:00 am

I wish to commend the Indiana state Sen. Sue Landske, R-Cedar Lake, and several of our other area Republican legislators for representing their districts and voting no on right to work.

I personally would like to learn more about it and I suspect Landske might have had some similar feelings.

It is clear that this legislation is on the fast track. I firmly believe more time should be taken and this law thought through to see if it is indeed best for our state and its residents.

If it is good today, it will be good tomorrow. Lets not be in a hurry on this, and let's take some time to examine all sides of it. I support a referendum on this so that we can all decide together.
