Lake Central shouldn't have held school Tuesday

This is in regards to Tuesday's lake effect snowstorm that dumped a ton of snow in the early morning hours.

I cannot believe the Lake Central school administration or the transportation director did not have the brains to call at least a 2-hour delay. They were willing to risk the safety of children, staff and bus drivers so they could complete a day of school. At times the drivers were experiencing complete white-out conditions.

Did anyone from the administration even go out and ride the roads?

Shame on Lake Central. When will you start thinking of safety first?
