Lake Central is home to many sports stars, but recently theater stars have been overlooked. On Dec., 1 the Lake Central Theater Company traveled to Purdue University in West Lafayette to compete in the regionals conference.

They entered in a 25-minute excerpt from the play "The Harvey Girls," written by Julie Jensen, and not only won the technical award, but also won first place!

While the school has congratulated the wrestlers on their Harvest Awards, the theater stars seem to be forgotten.

The Lake Central Theater Company did a phenomenal job at Regionals and is now advancing to State Conference in January. Keep your fingers crossed that they succeed!
