Lake officials have squandered enough already

Is the proposed Lake County income tax going to follow constitutional guidelines of "apportioned"?

The people of Lake County have already spoken, or have the politicians forgotten the people already voted on this issue?

If the county cannot balance the budget, let it shut down. They can’t let that happen, though, because then the people would see that we really don’t need them.

I can pay off my house and my land, but if I don't pay my property tax, the government takes my house and my land. That makes us all serfs. This is one of the reasons we left England in the first place. It is history repeating itself, and now they want my hard-earned labor to boot.

The county has already shown it cannot balance its finances. If we give the county more money, they will just squander that also and then ask for more money.

No county income tax!
