Having returned from a three-hour frightening drive from Lowell to Homewood, on Feb. 28, I had to take a minute to thank Lansing Public Works.

Having lived in Lansing for 35-plus years, they are the best snow removal team ever. Leaving Thornton and going into Lansing was like going from night to day. Leaving Lansing and going into Lynwood was the same.

You cannot be better then Lansing's guys and gals. They're the best. Other suburbs should take note.
