Lake County Jail needs money? Serve harsher penalties, then the guilty might think twice about breaking the law. Most are repeat offenders.

How about stopping the generous pensions to our government workers? Why can't they pay into a 401(k) or IRA as I did?

Taxes went up for Lake Central High School. Now we get a county tax. We need a couple of good people to oversee all of the above, not the bozos we have now!

I'm retired, 70 years old. I have stage four cancer, and I had to borrow money on my already paid off house to pay medical bills.

My heart goes out to Lake County government. Yeah, right! I worked 50 years paying taxes!
