I was pleased to read the letter from Dan Peach, of Schererville. It's good to hear from a young person who hasn't been brainwashed into believing the liberal Democrats are on his side. Because, in fact, the opposite is true.

Make no mistake about it, the liberals are destroying this country. They want a nation of high taxes, less freedom and more dependency of our citizens on big government.

Peach said it exactly right with, "This country went from the land of opportunity to the land of opportunists." Just look at what the liberals do in the wake of any mass shooting tragedy (which is usually carried out by a mentally disturbed person). They use this as a platform to push their gun-control agenda instead of addressing the real issue of the mentally ill and getting them the care they need.

After all there are other ways to kill besides the use of a gun.

I just hope more young people realize what's going on before we lose what was once the greatest nation in the world.
