Maybe statewide Dems don't want to be tarnished

“Where’s the signage?” People are asking me when we talk. They are referring to signs touting and promoting Democratic candidates for statewide office in Indiana.

“McDermott ain't doing nothing as chairman," another guy tells me over breakfast. In the paper we read where the feds had interviewed Thomas McDermott Jr. four or five months ago about Al Salinas.

Think about Joe Donnelly and John Gregg knowing this and maybe not wanting "to get any fleas on them." Maybe that’s why there’s no signage in Lake County!

Can you see Gov. Mitch Daniels with that “cat that ate the canary” smile when he read the story about the six indictments?
