Media ignored anniversary of Woodstock, I remember

Well, it happened again, for us baby boomers who were there and remember the three days of peace and music in Bethel, N.Y. It was forgotten by the media.

For those of us who read this and were there, we are the only ones who can appreciate the moment in history we all shared, so I proclaim, "Happy 44th anniversary, Woodstock 1969!"

Once again all the TV news programs, except for a few classic rock radio stations, and VH1 classic channel, ignored us baby boomers like always. We are asked to quietly take our meds, watch TV on the couch, be quiet. You've had your '60s moments, so go away!

To those arrogant, ignorant people who say this, my answer:

"Crank up 'The Star Spangled Banner' by Jimi Hendrix, and in the words of John Sebastian, who sang while there, 'I'll paint rainbows all over your blues.'"

To those out there who were there, or lived during the '60s, "Peace and love."
