Mexico, not NWI, is Chicago area's real problem

I moved out of Chicago years ago. Its draconian gun laws turned over the streets to the gangs and kept the citizens in a state of constant danger.

The nasty secret that Chicago politicians don't want the public to know is that Chicago is the drug distribution center for the United States. The Zetas and the Sanaloz cartels are waging a war for that territory.

Chicago is a virtual suburb of Mexico City, and its politicians are so terrified and intimidated they blame law-abiding gun owners.

DEA representatives have said Chicago is nearly 2,000 miles from Mexico, but the drug cartels are so deeply embedded in Chicago that local and federal law enforcement are forced to operate as if they are on the border.

This is their problem, not gun shows in Indiana. Let's keep Northwest Indiana free and safe.
