I was involved in a minor, accidental bump with another car, no damage.

But the other party called our so-called wonderful police department. I had the wonderful attention of about 10 cops, five cars.

But I remembered when my sister and myself were going down Willowcreek Road and someone in a pickup shot our window out. The bullet went through the driver's side (my sister was driving) and out the passenger side. All we rated was one cop. He didn't even look over the scene. He is still picking up glass shards.

I lived in Gary, and this never happened.
