Moving air show is step backward, not forward

Too bad — the airshow that used to be on the lakefront, free, is being moved to a place where they can charge for it. It will cost you just like everything else.

Some folks see this as a step forward. I see this as a step back. When the powers that be try to profit from everything that is a distraction or pleasurable to the majority of us, it really aggravates me — especially when it offers so little in return.

It is cool, and it does showcase the latest technology, but at the expense of taking yet another attraction away from Gary.

My advice, boycott it. We have enough to worry about — education, health care and food.
