All this talk about the fiscal cliff, gun control, the ongoing war, as well as everyday simple things like securing my home, the yo-yo price of gasoline, heating my home, buying milk and bread is worrying enough for most every reader of The Times.
But there is good news. Jobs. You hire people who are reliable and dependable, more so than the old adage of the USPS. My newspaper arrives at my doorstep every morning before 6 a.m., since 2009, and has not missed a day. Rain, snow, heat, nothing stops my delivery carrier.
I am proud to know that in this region there are still people who consider and take their jobs responsibly, with honor and respect.
I personally want to thank The Times and my carrier, whom I have never met but respect. God bless and happy new year.
