The other day I read a letter from Mike Certa. I was amused and confused at the same time.

He kept talking about neoconservatives doing this and neoconservatives doing that, and I wasn't sure if I was one of them.

He said neoconservatives lied about Iraq being behind 9-11, and Iraq having weapons of mass destruction, which led to tens of thousands of lives being lost.

First, President George W. Bush sent the troops into Iraq, with the approval of a large majority of Democrats in Congress, based on intelligence by our allies.

Neoconservatives, whatever that means, had nothing to do with Wall Street and the housing market's failures. Democrats Barney Frank and Chris Dodd were in charge of housing and banking when the bottom fell out.
