NIRPC vote on Illiana stabbed residents in back

December 26, 2013 12:00 am

The Northwestern Indiana Planning Commission vote to build the Illiana was the biggest stab in the back to the residents of south Lake County by the NIRPC members.

Leading the list of worthless politicians who care less about the people they would affect are Jon Costas, Ed Soliday, Brian Snedecor, Karen Freeman-Wilson, etc.

How will a road so far south and short help reduce traffic? Maybe they will want to extend the road all the way east and destroy more lives? The last try to build the Illiana was stopped by the Porter and LaPorte County residents several years ago. They moved to the country to live in the country and not have a toll road shoved in their faces.

My thanks go out to Thomas McDermott Jr. for standing up for the people!
