Wow! Lots of interesting reading Nov. 18. Seems like Valpo has come to the conclusion it's time to figure out who stays on what committee for how long of a period of time. How many years has this group been in power? Isn't this a scream?
The real scream is that the task to correct this was assigned to a certain councilman who was also on the Redevelopment Commission. Wasn't one of the unresolved issues who serves and how long on the RDC? In the final sentence it all falls on the City Council president, who also was on the RDC.
Another scream is the RDC dreams up pathways nobody is seen on, buses nobody rides and scary-go-rounds and various blind intersections that a lot of people avoid.
The mechanics of real infrastructure and the organization of who's who and what's what on various city positions are a big afterthought to them.
Couple this with the story of people carrying on conversations with Orville Redenbacher, and you have a laugh riot.
