Something doesn't add up. President Barack Obama blames Republicans for the sequester even though it was originally his idea. Obama blames Republicans for not compromising on taxes even though they already agreed to raise taxes in January.
Now Obama and his minions are trying to show the devastating effect of cutting less than 2 percent from the bloated federal budget by cancelling White House tours, promising long lines at airports, laying off employees and cutting hours at parks and museums. They must make these cuts appear catastrophic and convince Americans they just can’t do with any less government spending.
But even with these minuscule cuts, the government will still be spending more in 2013 than in 2012 – and somehow they funded those White House tours last year! This is all a game to them. Sadly it’s a game where the American people and our wallets are the losers.
