I watched the last five minutes of President Barack Obama's first press conference in eight months. What a farce!
He picked the questions carefully, limiting their content so as to not have to answer why contradicting answers were given by him and his administration about Benghazi.
Only Fox News's Ed Henry tried to get some answers on the murders of our ambassador and three other Americans. He was quickly shut down. The question as to whether Obama issued any order giving assistance, when informed of the attack taking place and their request for help, was not answered.
It's time for the American people to get some straight answers from the president. Let's get some real questions from the media and some truthful answers from the president.
The buck still stops with the president, and feinting ignorance or the old standby, "we're still investigating," is not acceptable. The American people are being lied to.
