Before Gov. Mike Pence starts eliminating business personal property tax like the neighboring states he quoted, he should look at their finances.

With 1 being the lowest and 50 being the highest, Indiana ranks third, Michigan ranks 38th, Illinois ranks 44th and Ohio ranks 48th in state debt.

Do we want to be like them? I think not!
