I find the main picture featured on the report of Whiting's Pierogi Fest (note proper spelling it is not pirogi) insulting to any and all women of Eastern European extraction.

My grandmother, mother and wife are and were "bushas" and never appeared in public in such demeaning attire.

What's next on Dabertin's list of fests? A minstrel show in Gary?

These are my opinions from a disgusted and sickened Whiting resident.
