It looks like our elected officials and the labor unions have done it again. First our new mayor does not want our City Council officials present when he is having a meeting with union officials, and now he is hitting us with a new trail that will cost us $884,000 -- and for what?
Another boondoggle that is going to cost us a million before it is over.
When you say government, it means us. Where does it get the money? Taxes. We citizens do not own anything anymore.
Why can't we have our roads fixed here in Portage? They are tearing up our cars. Most other cities in this area have better. Our politicians are getting like sandburs in our shorts.
