What a sad state our wonderful country has fallen into. Those elected to work for the people have managed to throw all decency aside.

You would expect a governor to have respect for former presidents. Not so, where Gov. Pat Quinn is concerned. Imagine his nerve and lack of respect when he bragged about signing the same-sex marriage bill (as the 16th state to do so) and that he was signing it on the desk of our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln.

This certainly shows people like him have no respect for anyone and are willing to throw insults on the man who fought for liberty and freedom for our country. Shame, shame, shame.
