Remember who voted for Lake County income tax

Please vote no on the Lake County option income tax. To go from 0 to 1.5 percent in some vague promise of property tax relief is a terrible idea for taxpayers. You are just putting more money into the hands of a Lake County government with a proven history of corruption and wasteful spending.

Once this tax is in place, it will only go up. And with the pending thaw of the property tax levy, those taxes will go up too.

When you go to the voting booth next time, remember that it was three Democrats who voted for the tax and two Republicans who voted against it. If you like paying high taxes and getting little in return, vote Democrat.
