Replace campaign costs with modern technology

History tells how us how presidential rivals used to come to virtual blows during debates! I remember when candidates passed out political party picture cards as advertising. We kids created a flipping game. Harry Truman used the train stops for speeches.

Now with our modern TV technology, presidential rivals spend millions and give us promises they can't keep without favors to donors. The TV conglomerate profits alone could cover our national debt.

Our daily TV viewing is limited to infantile mentality. They would never agree to give us real live debates a month before elections so we could make our own educated and consciousness decisions. They would lose millions!
