Republicans have to work to win over Hispanics

The Republican Party is hell-bent on trying to make inroads with the Hispanic Community. Thus we have the Republican Party leading the charge for immigration reform, but we’re in the year 2013 and the Republican Party is trying to do a make-over.

The initiative is very obvious and meant to placate the Hispanic community. The Hispanic community is the cat bird seat because the Republicans must deliver on this immigration reform bill first. The Presidential Election isn't until 2016, and the Hispanics and Democrats are cognizant of this fact.

I’m remembering a gentleman who was streetwise and schooled me on life. “Be careful who you give a brand new pair of shoes; they’ll turn around and kick you in the behind with them” the gentleman told me.
