Requiring voter ID helps prevent vote fraud

I cannot understand why there is so much opposition to restricting a prospective voter by using a picture embossed identification card with other identification data to support the picture.

Many have called this intimidation of minority voters or senior voters. How can it be intimidation since we need complete integrity in our voting process to ensure whoever wins has attained the votes without a bit of fraud? False voting implies the candidate is willing to lie just to gain an office in the government ranks.

An ID card can be issued once someone honestly registers. This ID expires when a person moves from the valid voting geography or dies. This can be verified simply by setting up a process of voter ID verification in the tax office and death reporting by the medical authority who processes the death certificate.

Loss of an ID is a loss of voting privilege, and a new ID must be obtained through the official election department.

For those unable to travel to those offices, the local village authorities need to set up a no-cost transport system. Overall, this requires flawless voting procedures at the polling locations to ensure there is no fraud.
