In Scripture, Christ is spoken of as "The Bridegroom" —  Matthew 9:15, Mark 2:19, Luke 5:34 (KJV).

"The Body of Christ" (1 Corinthians 20:24) is "The Bride" (St. John 3:29, 1 Corinthians 12:14 (KJV).

Now, common sense dictates that within this many membered body there are males, females, boys, girls, etc.

Within this context are various sexual preferences. Homosexuals shouldn't be allowed to marry because they are placing a sexual preference before "a spiritual union."

Consider Galatians 3:28, 29, Isaiah 54:5, 2 Corinthians 11:12, Ephesians 5:23 and Ephesians 5:33 (KJV). This is regardless of gender.

To make a business out of "same-sex" marriage is contrary to whom God is. Ecclesiastes 10:19 (KJV).
