The Jovan Belcher killing/suicide is being used to argue for changes to the Second Amendment. Guns are blamed for people's actions. Cultivating violence in sports is not blamed. Hollywood pandering to audiences with violent movies is not blamed.

Gangster rap is not blamed. Decades of never-ending wars are not blamed. No, but the people's right to defend themselves as a last resort is.

The Second Amendment was put in the Constitution to state that we have a God-given right to defend our lives because of threat of aggression from individuals or government.

Historically, no other cause of genocide toward innocent people has been worse than government. Remember this the next time some politician says the Second Amendment is for hunting.
