Let me get this correct. We should do away with the Second Amendment to our Constitution because it is 200 years old and "outdated"?
The right to bear arms was not intended to protect our right to hunt but so we could protect ourselves from a tyrannical government. "A well regulated militia, being necessary for the security of a free state. the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
An out-of-control government will first disarm its citizens and then desensitive its military so it will go against the general population if ordered to do so. This is already happening in some of our southern states, with armed military maneuvers in neighborhoods.
Our leaders are trampling the Constitution and breaking our laws with no consequences. We had better wake up and speak out before it is too late. It takes more than a big smile and a fun personality to be a good leader. I, for one, know the Emperor has no clothes.
