Who is Anita Scalone ("Let kids be competitive instead of yielding to others," Jan. 23)? Ayn Rand's unknown daughter? Heck, people have accused me of bullying. I'm a Nobel Peace Prize winner compared to Scalone.

Why are tea-partiers so angry? Mommy didn't love you enough?

Those are kids, probably very young kids. Let then learn about soccer, teamwork and having some fun. The coach showed real class. Something absent in Scalone.

Believe me, they'll learn about the cut-throat world soon enough.

Try a little tenderness. It worked for me!
