South Shore is too expensive for most of us

Once more Rich James wants us to pay more taxes. This time it is for a South Shore expansion!

Soon, if James has his way, it will be better for us to take the taxes we pay and leave our wages for the government. We would end up with more in our pockets.

There is no tax that James and his Democrat friends don’t like.

I have lived in Gary and Northwest Indiana all of my life, and I have ridden the South Shore Line one time with my family. We thought it might be a fun adventure taking the train to a Cubs game.

I could have flown to Hong Kong for less. The South Shore is too expensive for most of us to use. Taking it to Chicago for a “better paying job” than is available locally is likely a break-even event.

Please stop wanting to spend my money!
