The Tea Party needs to be spanked by the senior leaders in the Republican Party, and the best way to do that is for the Speaker of the House to bring the bill for a simple vote on the bill that shut things down.

Remember the Tea Party was formed to reduce spending by President George W. Bush.

The Affordable Care Act has survived more than 40 attacks. Isn't it time to think about improving it and surrender this wanton goal? Think of the great things to accomplish together.

Voters who elected the Tea Party members must be embarrassed to see how wasteful and how obvious the Tea Party is in promoting failure to the other party and this country.

Why John Boehner won't put the bill to a vote is a big mystery. What hold does the Tea Party have on him?
