Speaking of out of touch, don't forget about Kerry

Mike Donelson’s recent attempt at rewriting history is almost laughable. He portrays President Obama’s mother as “a poor single mom."

Stanley Ann Dunham was many things, but poor wasn't one of them. Her father was a businessman, and her mother was vice president of the Bank of Hawaii. She was an only child and met Obama’s father while studying anthropology at the University of Hawaii. In 1955, the Dunhams moved to Washington and enrolled Ann at Mercer Island High School, an elite school with many pro-Marxist teachers. (Google: John Stenhouse, Mercer Island).

Mike continued his tirade by criticizing Romney as “wealthy and out of touch." Being a loyal Democrat, Mike probably voted for John Kerry, who is three times wealthier than Romney. The vast Heinz/Kerry family fortune is estimated to be almost $1 billion and includes five homes worth $33 million. How’s that for being “out of touch”?
