Spend money on roads repairs, not new bike trails

I see in the news our mayor is planning to spend another few million on bike trails and parks here in Portage. I voted for him on the assumption he would use common sense such as most Republicans do when handling other people's money.

Big disappointment. Here we are with some of the worst roads in the state, more than $16 million spent on bicycle trails that are only used by a few and then only if the weather permits.

The rough roads and potholes are extremely hard on tires, shock absorbers and wheel alignment, but there is no one fixing them. Wake up, City Council! Don't you have a say in this?
