Once a star quarterback for Munster High, Jimmy Dryjanski headed to the Air Force Academy in 1987. After four years, he joined the U.S. Air Force, then moved from Air Force base to Air Force base as his rank went up.

In Afghanistan, Jimmy flew missions in a C-130 Boxcar with supplies to our troops, 500 hours. In Germany, he led a 26-man squadron of fighter jets.

Called to the Pentagon in 2010, he received the rank of colonel.

I'm proud to say Jimmy grew up here in the Calumet Region.
