I live in Boone Township. I believe my property taxes are already high, with the largest share of the property tax bill going to the school.

According to Bob Kasarda's April 21 article, the Metropolitan School District of Boone Township has put our area in the No. 1 spot for Porter County's highest school debt to student ratio. This is not the race we want to be winning.

Property owners in Boone Township should study their property tax bills. Study the bill and go vote in the May 7 referendum.
