The "call" of Super Bowl XLVII is still being debated on many Internet sports channels bringing up the question of there being "fixes" in not only football, but all sports.

Well, the 15-year-old me recalls Super Bowl III as a great memory spent with my departed dad, a transplanted New Yorker and champion of the underdog, sharing the upset with finger wagging Joe Namath. As we celebrated, I was bursting with joy at not only sharing a grand moment with my father but also that I had just won $75 from a cook at John's Pizza in Cal City that no way I could bring to light with the old man. Nope.

The 59-year-old me realizes that out there in the time-space continuum Jimmy Orr is frantically waving his arms, and Earl Morrall is purposely ignoring him.
