Support of family, friends has helped ease grief

February 21, 2012 12:00 am

The last two months of my life have been very difficult to handle because of the loss of my wife. Through this period, it is great to know that I have friends and family that assisted me through this endeavor.

I would like to sincerely and publicly thank everyone for their support during this very difficult time in my life. These friends, relatives and my church provided me the comfort to get me through my wife's death. To all of you, I am forever grateful.

Cheryl's unexpected death on Christmas Eve rocked my world as well as those who knew her. The cards, phone calls and prayers have brought much comfort to me.

A man once said, that without family and friends you are so alone. I now know that statement is true. The comfort all of you brought has eased my pain, and words cannot express my gratitude. Your thoughts and words of sympathy will always be remembered.
