An entitlement, according to Congress, is anything that’s not paid for.
Everything they get is an entitlement -- health insurance, pension and their $174,000 paycheck. We pay for all of it.
Subsidies to Fortune 1000 corporations are entitlements. Energy corporations, Disney, McDonalds, etc., all get huge checks every year. Add to that no taxes paid and huge "refunds" received by many of these same players, and you have an idea of the scope of entitlements!
Congress claims Social Security and Medicare are entitlements, but your paycheck says different. These programs are the only ones that are paid for! And neither has any effect on the deficit.
If Congress stopped showering these corporations with our money, we would be flush for the next 100 years and in surplus!
Tell your Congresscritter that you want all the entitlements to stop and all those warehouses of IOUs to Social Security paid in full!
