On Dec. 18, our group of 12 senior friends celebrated Christmas at Rosewood Restaurant on U.S. 6 in South Haven. We all want to thank the anonymous lady who paid for all our meals and left without letting us know her name.

The world is full of good people, and “paying it forward” is such a nice gesture. We were so impressed with her kindness that we are all looking for an opportunity to do a kind deed for someone else.

We started with our waitress, who was especially kind and thoughtful. How wonderful to experience the love of God through other people!

Yes, Virginia, there is a Mrs. Santa Claus.
