Thank you to the Hammond Police Department for the kindness and compassion shown the mentally ill and their families who try to help them. Our hearts were healed by the Hammond police's gentle and helpful assistance in a painful and ongoing situation.
Perhaps the Highland and Griffith police forces could take a class from Hammond.
