Thanks to whoever mowed lawns of vacant homes

As I was walking along 10th Avenue in Aetna, I noticed the area from Lake Street had some changes. Someone came along and mowed some lawns for about three or four blocks from Lake Street toward Clay Street.

Normally I would not think much of it, except the lawns were at abandoned houses and burned out houses. I was happy and impressed at the same time, because someone took the time to do that. They did not have to. If more people in Gary thought the same way, than perhaps we can make the city beautiful again.

Again I want to thank whomever it was and ask them to keep up the good work.
