How do you define success? A common reply is “achieving predetermined goals.” Scripture’s definition is different. For success in the biblical sense, God sets the goals.

If you haven’t dealt with faith in Jesus/God, you are probably passing similar ideas to your children and so forth. Reading the Bible can give you insight that will break this cycle and you will begin a new one that will benefit future generations.

Ask yourself, What kind of life do I want to live?

The Bible led us to believe everyone has a Holy Spirit inside their body. Let the Holy Spirit speak to you about your choices — past, present and future and God’s plans for you.

Your faithfulness to God might be making an eternal difference in someone’s life. God’s kindness, patience and self-control will manifest itself; but God will do it in his own time.
