At a time when so many Hoosiers are still struggling to pay for health care and health insurance, it is amazing that our elected representatives are leaving federal funds on the table instead of accessing them to pay for Medicaid expansion.

The "Healthy Indiana" plan leaves too many residents in an unhealthy situation.

Gov. Mike Pence and his supporters continue to blame the working poor for their situation, rather than taking steps which would ensure more healthy families and a more productive workforce.
