Too bad Obama didn't pretend to be a GOP donor

On the night of the election, both Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader of the U.S. Senate, and John Boehner, the Republican speaker of the House, refused to take President Barack Obama's phone call. Their staffs said they were asleep.

This is childish, but there's one thing I wish Obama would have done.

I wish Obama had borrowed a cell phone and posed as Sheldon Adelson, one of the Koch brothers or one of the other billionaires would bankrolled the GOP in the 2012 election.

Obama could say, "You tell your boss, Sen. McConnell, I need to talk to him NOW. I want to know what Karl Rove did with my money."

Once Obama had Sen. McConnell on the line he could say, "Just kidding, it's me, Barack. Did I wake you?"
