We here in Northwest Indiana will soon be presented with an opportunity to replace Rep. Pete Visclosky with Joel Phelps, a successful business man with a valid plan to improve our Hoosier economy and get his constituents back to work.

Unlike Visclosky, Phelps is not a career politician. His stated goal is not to stay in Washington (like many), but is instead to benefit his district and his constituents. Phelps vows to bring home the resources we need to use our interstate highway system, dredge our deep-water port at Burns Harbor, and connect our rail systems.

Those who don’t learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Don't vote for 28 years of no results. Vote to reverse our economic decline, to use our energy resources, and to get Hoosiers back to work. Vote Joel Phelps for Congress.
