Valpo needs to add stoplight to deter accidents

I am trying to understand Valparaiso's engineering plans concerning intersections and traffic flow.

The intersection at Chicago Street and Sturdy Road is a very dangerous intersection with multiple accidents in a few months period of time. This is nothing new, but has been ongoing for a long time.

We need a traffic light at that intersection before someone gets killed.

There have been multiple serious accidents there. There were two about 90 minutes apart the other day.

The roundabout is far enough away to not cause any problems with the flow of traffic if a traffic light was installed. Where are our tax dollars going if they're not used to improve conditions in our own neighborhood?
