The National Taxpayers Union has consistently given U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky an F rating year after year since 1998. Before that, the best score he ever had was a C-.

If you want to know why our national debt is so high ($16 trillion), it’s because of congressmen like Visclosky.

He is one of those “supposed” public servants who love to decide how much of our money we get to keep, while at the same time attending ribbon-cutting ceremonies as if he pulled the money for the projects out of his own personal wallet. We paid for that project.

Pete has fooled Northwest Indiana taxpayers long enough. It’s time to give someone else a chance to lead. I will be voting for Joel Phelps on Nov. 6!
