We aren't always lucky enough to have a Buncich

He has been, hands down, the best and most involved sheriff Lake County has ever had. The sheriff's department, under his direction, has been extensively involved in raids, patrolling our streets and patrolling our beaches on ATVs.

The patrol boat on Lake Michigan and the helicopter have been extremely important to saving lives. Work release inmates are being used to clean and mow our parks, abandoned properties, and along our roads throughout Lake County.

Lake County sheriff's detectives and investigators are being used in Gary to help solve cases. The Gary police chief and mayor have often publicly commended Sheriff John Buncich for his successes in assisting Gary to curb crime.

Why should we even consider electing another sheriff? We aren't always fortunate enough to have an individual elected who has done what he promised before the election.

Why are mayors in Lake County endorsing Buncich to be re-elected as our sheriff?
