We'd debate gun control if terrorists bought all that

In the aftermath of the Aurora, Colo., massacre by a crazy person, no politician has the courage to touch the third rail of any gun control debate because of their fear of NRA retaliation.

It is shear insanity that anyone can buy body armor, excessively large gun magazines, tear gas canisters and thousands of rounds of ammunition on the Internet without any background check.

It is argued that the Aurora shooter would not have failed such a check. That might be, but let a few terrorists use the same armor and AK 15s with 100-round magazine clips and kill a few hundred people, and the debate will be on. But, why do we have to wait for that to happen?
